In many education programs, including master’s degree, management, Ph.D. programs, students are given assignments, in which they have to write a paper or thesis. Thesis is a written document, prepared after an in-depth research on an original topic. To get through their management, master’s degree and/or Ph.D. program, student scholars are required to submit their thesis at the college. However, on the other hand, a thesis statement is a written document that is throws light on the context of a research report or thesis. It signifies what are the key elements of a research or thesis assignment. If a student scholar wants to research some topic or subject, he will have to prepare a thesis statement, which is also known as research proposal. Thesis Statement or Research Proposal A thesis statement should be written in conversational style. The researcher should try to put his way of thinking, why he wants to dig this topic or subject, what are the factors that pulled his or her attention to this topic, what he is trying to prove with this research. It should be descriptive enough to reveal the purpose of the research. Do keep in mind that thesis statement is the first step of your research.
